I've been strongly resisting coming to the best guess that 911 was a
classic Mossad false flag operation, conducted with the full

highest levels of the U.S. government, but some recent events have
made it almost impossible to ignore the obvious. {how about a classic

Here's the best guest so far of what happened on 9/11/2001... Osama
bin Laden is a high level agent operated by the Israeli Mossad in
cooperation with the CIA. OBL and his inner circle recruited the
hijackers for 911, with the naive recruitees having little idea of
what they were really getting into or about whom was pulling their
strings (this was the false flag component of the operation). The
hijacked planes were taken over on 9/11 by remote control -- the
hijackers lacked the piloting skills to execute the maneuvers that
were performed. Well-established procedures for handling situations of
this kind were deliberately overridden by orders from on high within
the Bush administration. The planes were allowed to hit their targets.

Powerful documentary reveals: What the West needs to know about Islam -- the world's most violent religion
"Islam: What the West Needs to Know" DVD
by Gregory M. Davis and Bryan Daly, producers

Since 9/11, numerous Western leaders have insisted that Islam is a
peaceful religion, and that violence committed in its name contradicts
the teachings of the Koran and the example of the prophet Muhammad.
But is this true? Now, Islam: What the West Needs to Know, takes an
unblinking look at the so-called "religion of peace" -- and
demonstrates that Islam is, in fact, a violent and expansionist
religion that seeks the destruction or subjugation of other faiths,
cultures, and systems of government.

Featuring interviews with noted Islam experts Robert Spencer, Serge Trifkovic, Bat Ye'or, Abdullah Al-Araby, and former terrorist Walid Shoebat, Islam: What the West Needs to Know examines the Koran, other Islamic texts, and the example of the prophet Muhammad to reveal that violence against non-Muslims is and has always been an integral aspect of Islam.

The Islam: What the West Needs to Know DVD reveals:

How warfare -- even terrorism -- in the name of Islam stems directly
from the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad and the
commands of the Koran

The truth about Muhammad: a warlord with the blood of thousands on his
hands -- and how Muslims are expected to follow his example, as
Christians are to follow Christ

How the Koran -- considered by Muslims to be dictated word for word by
Allah -- explicitly commands violence against non-Muslims who resist
conversion or surrender

"Jihad": an "inner struggle" over temptation, as some Muslim
apologists claim? Not so: how the Koran makes it clear it denotes
warfare against non-Muslims in order to bring about the universal rule
of Islamic law

How violent death in jihad is, according to the Koran, the only
assurance of salvation

How, following Muhammad's death, his 'rightly-guided' successors
carried his wars to three continents -- fighting, enslaving, and
massacring countless Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Hindus, and

How Islam, unlike Christianity, flourished and spread primarily
through conquest, not peaceful evangelism

How the Crusades, mischaracterized as a violent assault on peaceful
Muslims, were largely a belated response against centuries of Muslim
conquest of Christian lands

The Islamic principle of 'religious deception' -- which enjoins
Muslims to deceive non-Muslims to advance the cause of Islam – and how
Muslim groups use it today

How, throughout its history, Islam has never recognized a distinction
between religious and civil authority

How Islamic "sharia" law governs every aspect of religious, political,
and personal life -- amounting to a form of totalitarianism analogous
to Communism Note: A Club favorite is now available again. This is the
re-release of the same documentary that we sold in 2006.

does not pussyfoot around or shy away from highlighting or revealing
the dark or scary true facts about Islam in all its brutality and

Of course, I cannot rate this DVD as I have not seen it yet. However,
I have read your introduction to its key points. I have also seen a
shocking documentary on FOX last year which depicted some of what you
say is in this DVD. It is more than sobering. It should be required
viewing by government departments, then presented by the government ot
the public in the form of information required to understand the
nature and danger of the war we are all in. It seems to me that our
government is irresponsible if it does not enable Americans to learn
the real meanings of this war; from there, we, as individuals, groups
and institutions can finally begin to plan for our safety and for any
other actions we must take to protect the future of the nation.

Critic says Napolitano's performance was poor before the christmast day attack.

Two terrorist attacks on American soil within les s than sixty days. Administration officials declare that “the system worked” after the Christmas day attack, only to be contradicted by the President days later. The President notes on December 29th that the Christmas day attack was carried out by merely an “isolated extremist,” but then declares on January 7 that “we are at war,” and that we must stay “one step ahead of a nimble adversary," in complete contradiction of his Homeland Security Secretary and his own previous remarks.

One of the most extraordinary accounts of this chaos was served up by Washington Post columnist David Broder. In the aftermath of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s sweep-it-under-the-rug “the system worked” analysis of the Christmas day attack, Broder published a column on January 1 explaining her terrific handling of the crisis.
“In the years I have known her,” Broder wrote, “she has managed every challenge that has come her way with the same calm command that she showed in this instance. If there is anyone in the administration who embodies President Obama's preference for quiet competence with ‘no drama,’ it is Janet Napolitano.”

But don’t look for Napolitano’s departure any time soon. She “earned” a secure position in the Obama Administration by defying her long-standing friendship with the Clintons (President Clinton once appointed Napolitano as a “U.S. Attorney”) back in 2008 and endorsing Obama over Hillary. It is political cronyism at its worst - but it is the way things work in Washington.

and he had John Yoo on. Well, I think it would be -- I would love to
hear you talk to him about it. He has got a book out and it's -- I
don't know if he's doing the rounds or whatever, but, you know,
talking to him about that and Jon, a tad out of his league in that

In colloquial terms, "The Torture Memo." Yoo asserted that
Presidential power, when exercised in his or her role as Commander in
Chief, is almost limitless, unbound by Congress, the Courts, treaties,
or even the Constitution itself. He further claimed that virtually any
maltreatment short of major organ failure could pass the legal test of
not being "torture" under applicable law.

John Yoo on The Daily Show (transcript) Last night on Comedy Central's
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Jon's guest was John Yoo, the Bush
Administration lawyer who wrote one of the key documents asserting the
Administration's legal authority to employ so-called "Enhanced
Interrogation Techniques" on prisoners designated as unlawful enemy

Yoo was a deputy assistant attorney general at the Justice
Department's Office of Legal Counsel from 2001 to 2003. A 1992
graduate of Yale Law School, Yoo joined the Federalist Society, a
national group of conservative and libertarian lawyers, while still a
student. He clerked for U.S. Appeals Court Judge Lawrence H.
Silberman, a federal judge much admired by the right, and then for
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. An expert in war powers,
Yoo was the principal author of Justice Department memos giving
President Bush extraordinary power to prosecute the global war on
terror, ignoring the Geneva Conventions regarding captured terrorist
suspects and placing a high bar on what constitutes torture. He tells
FRONTLINE that the logic behind these decisions flowed from two basic
questions about the 9/11 attacks: Was the U.S. at war? And should Al
Qaeda be treated the same as a nation-state? Now a law professor at
the University of California, Berkeley, Yoo defends his controversial
advice: "The one thing I think we don't want is for the government to
be hamstrung in the way it interrogates people who have knowledge of
pending attacks on the United States because we have so much
disagreement about what those phrases mean that we can't do anything.
So I think it's important that the government do figure out what that
language means and how to apply it, rather than operating [in] this
sort of vague fog of uncertainty." In October 2005, Yoo published a
book, The Powers of War and Peace: The Constitution and Foreign
Affairs After 9/11. This is the edited transcript of an interview
conducted on July 19, 2005.

EVIATAR 6/28/09 The Washington IndependentMarcy Wheeler made a great
point on Friday that's worth following up on. President Obama's
declaration to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the United Nations
Convention Against Torture tosses the responsibility for developing
"effective policies and programs for stopping torture" to the State
Department, asking it to "solicit information from all of our
diplomatic missions around the world ..."
