CANCER: BLACKS MAY BE THE HIGHEST, BUT ASIANS, NATIVE AMERICANS AND
HISPANICS HAVE THE LOWEST RATES
Everybody knows that Blacks have the highest rates of cancer, usually
blamed on racism, poverty, or both, but who dares point out that
Asians and Hispanics have the LOWEST rates of most cancers, except
stomach cancer (from Kim-Chee) and lung cancer among women (from stir
frying). Hispanics and Native Americans also have very low rates of
cancer. They are definitely poor, with per capita incomes even lower
than blacks. So does it really make sense to blame everything on
poverty?
Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the United
States. It is a disease in which normal human cells become abnormal
and proliferate uncontrollably.

black men face the highest risk of being diagnosed with cancer, and
their rates are almost three times as high as those among South Asian
groups, according to statistics from the California Cancer Registry
and researchers at the Los Angeles Cancer Surveillance Program at
USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center....ates of certain cancers
(such as liver and stomach cancer) are much higher among Koreans and
Chinese than among blacks and other groups.

p. 13 Raises the alarm about "increasing" cancer rates, and better
statistics by comparing Asian groups against each other. But it does
not note that some groups such as the Chinese and Japanese have much
lower rates of cancer death than whites, a similar tactic used in the
AIDS campaign to walk around very low overall rates for all Asians.
Another example of sweeping the good under the rug to paint a picture
of gloom no matter how much better than whites statistics are.
