This is Arthur Hu's home page. I'm just figuring out what to do with this new medium, so don't be surprised if it goes off into a bunch of different directions. I've fashioned myself to be a bit of an expert on issues of race, especially Asian Americans and Affirmative Action, so you can check out my Hu's on First Political Columns or Index of DiversityIndex of Diversity
On the lighter side, I've posted my family album for family announcements to supplement family email communications with pictures, and test out the waters for new uses of the web. My most popular attraction seems to be my collecting site, which has been named one of the best Matchbox car sites, and one of the better What's New, and you can follow my bookmarks with any browser with my hand built bookmark file so you can browse the sites I've found to be cool. If you don't mind using the "find" feature to walk around a huge notes file, you can also browse my big list of notable internet sites.
My brother runs Intellect Systems, which sells the WinProof grammar checker (FREE DOWNLOAD OF SHAREWARE) and free download of a MS-Windows screen saver. We seem to have the only cyber-tour of Seattle, albeit an Offbeat one with sights like the Fremont Troll, Lincoln Toe Truck, and the Hat and Boots gas station. Check out Franklin's big RV trip - 2 months across the USA
You can check out my BIG RV CROSS COUNTRY ADVENTURE on the WEB.
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/frankhu It includes a daily log plus pictures. I've made it as far as Los Angeles. enjoy! -Franklin Hu
Intellect Systems is offering free downloads of some of its Seattle area screen savers. Or just take a tour of Offbeat Seattle. You may know about the Space Needle and the ferry boats, but what about Waiting for the Interurban, the Fremont Troll, and the Lincoln Toe Truck, or the Hat and Boots Gas Station? Take a look.
Every statistic ever gathered on Asian Americans and every other kind of diversity in one place. Not all of the data is on line yet, but you can email arthurhu@halcyon.com if what you're looking for isn't in the index. Not neccesarily politically correct, but that's the facts.
All the cool places I've checked on on the internet. Mostly text now, but I'm converting it to HTML pointers. In the mean time, use cut and paste to move around. Children, Asian Americans, CD stores, TV, movies, cities, museums, airplanes, military, railroads, Miss Saigon, movies, utilities, virtual tours it's in there, some with ratings and listings of which ones have video, pictures, and big indexes to other places.
