half the European American population is being screwed out of its fair
share of society's goods and services, and being insulted and disparaged
during the screwing, so I thought you would like to see, in advance, one

Maldistribution Of The "White" Quota                     (from

This is a phenomenon just becoming recognized at this time in writings by
Ronald Unz, Patrick Buchanan, Edward Koch and Jonathan Tilove.   It means
that members of the marginalized and subordinated "white" ethnic groups
(Celtic, Germanic, Italic, Slavic and Greek) are vastly and unfairly
under-represented in public college admissions, employment and promotions.


It is a topic that will have great import as observers realize how much
maldistribution there is within the "white" quota.   This is not a feature
of affirmative action per se.   It is a feature of the bias and bigotry
against the members of certain "white" groups, and it can be seen in the
allocating of seats and positions available within the "white" quota to
members of the marginalized and subordinated "white" ethnic groups in
American today.


For example, European Americans, who make up approximately 65% of the
eligible and qualified pool of potential applicants to UC each year, are
first of all crowded down at Berkeley into a "white" quota of about 30%.  
This has been true under the current Berkeley campus administrators, and
the last two, and is fairly well publicized --- even bragged about by UC
officials.


What is not understood is that children from two rather small elite
"white" ethnic groups receive fully one-half of the "white" quota.   The
two groups taken together only provide about 5% of the total eligible and
qualified pool of potential applicants to UC at Berkeley, so they are very
happy with 15% of the admissions.    Why wouldn't they be?   They are
over-represented in first year classes by a factor of three.


This leaves the remaining eligible and qualified European Americans (60%
of the total pool)  to struggle over a mere 15% of the admissions.    The
subordinated "white" ethnic groups' members should be very unhappy about
this bigotry.    They are under-represented in first year classes by a
factor of four.


[While the foregoing analysis is a micro analysis (how the "white" quota
of 30% is allocated at Berkeley), it is also worth remarking that a macro
analysis (how the overall admissions are allocated) shows that
non-European Americans make up about 35% of the eligible and qualified
pool of potential applicants to UC at Berkeley, and that 35% of the pool
is allocated 70% of admissions, an over-representation for non-European
Americans in first year classes by a factor of two.]


This phenomenon is unreported by any media to date (except for the four
writers listed above) and this silence has to reflect the distaste felt by
the dominant media culture for members of the subordinated "white" ethnic
groups.   This phenomenon also provides an argument in favor of
understanding the diversity of the European American community.
