NO DIFFERENCE IN COLLEGE OR SES AFTER CONTROLLING FOR "G" \doc\web\99\07\sesg.txt From: "Patricia
Hausman" Brodnick RJ & Ree, MJ (1995). A
structural model of academic performance, socioeconomic status, and
Spearman's g. Educational and Psychological Measurement 55(4):
583-594.
In brief, the authors find no relationship between performance of
college students and SES after controlling for g.
I have not read any other work by Brodnick, but have read a numerous
papers by Ree and been much impressed by their caliber.
