Good old Calistoga a.k.a. Sodom and Gomorrah ... a small, valueless town of about 4,500 people. The newly appointed principle of our local high school is an avowed lesbian. She was formerly a P.E. teacher who took great pleasure in giving her students a handout entitled "101 ways to do it without going all the way." She also gave her students tests on every kind of sex act there is and then some. She told them that their knowledge was secondary because she really wanted to know how the class "changed their values." All done without parent notification and/or permission of course. Female students were also leaving her class "confused" - unsure if they were "straight" or "gay." One of her former students who thought she was "gay" shot and killed herself in a church parking lot. Whether or not her suicide was related to what she was taught in Calistoga schools is unknown but I personally wonder about that. Today we learned that another avowed lesbian and one of her friends have been elected by overwhelming margins to our school board. She lives with another woman (who teaches Sunday School at the Presbyterian Church in town and is also a teacher's aide at the elementary school) and they have adopted and are raising a little boy together. No doubt Calistoga students will soon be reading "Heather has two mommies" and "Daddy's new roommate." Where are the rest of the churches in town? Well, they are quiet as church mice. As for me, well, they hate my guts. And I can tell you, I do not want to raise my daughter in this evil little town. Please pray for me.
