Our school district posts job openings in every building in the district. 
I noticed while I was looking at the information yesterday that the
district requires teachers be trained in ADAPT and EEI.  Does anyone have
any info on ADAPT or EEI? EEI must be an abbreviation for a program, but I
am clueless.


ghoffman@bellatlantic.net The administration also requires that the teachers be trained in
collaborative training, inclusion, process writing,  authentic assessment,
learning styles, integrated curriculum, computer skills including both Mac
and Windows, and portfolios.  


The administration has suggested to parents on the task force that they
are willing to take a more traditional approach to teaching our children. 
They are calling it a balanced approach.  If the administration is looking
for people with these qualifications I think it is safe to assume we are
looking for teachers trained in the implementation of developmentally
appropriate practices
