So glad to see the state of Washington is using my money to spread 
lies about what happened in Wenatchee. Here is some of what they 
wrote at http://www.wa.gov/dshs/wenatchee.html (with my comments in 
CAPS). I thank John for pointing kclp readers to this web page but, 
obviously, I disagree with him about what happened over there.

Were children abused in Wenatchee?


There is evidence to support the finding that children were abused in 
Wenatchee [YES, INDEED, THEY WERE ABUSED. BY DETECTIVE BOB PEREZ, 
CPS, DSHS AND THE COURTS]. 


Multiple children disclosed being abused by parents, relatives, 
non-related adults, and other children. The disclosures were made to 
multiple community professionals, parents, relatives, caregivers, 
teachers, and medical providers. The children disclosed same/similar 
information about one another, witnessing the abuse of others and the 
person/s who abused them. 


DISCLOSURES WERE MADE UNDER EXTREME PRESSURE FROM DETECTIVE BOB PEREZ 
WITH COOPERATION FROM STATE SOCIAL WORKERS. MANY CHILDREN HAVE 
RECANTED. 






What evidence does the department have to support the finding of 
abuse in Wenatchee?


Multiple children reported that they had been sexually abused [SEE 
ABOVE]. The children have remained consistent in their statements 
about the abuse [BULLSHIT. MANY OF THE CHILDREN HAVE RECANTED AND FEW 
STAND BY THEIR STATEMENTS], and in many cases medical evidence 
supports that abuse occurred [ONE OF THE NATION'S TOP EXPERTS ON 
PHYSICAL ABUSE TESTIFIED IN THE SEATTLE CIVIL TRIAL THAT THERE WAS NO 
PHYSICIAL EVIDENCE SUPPORTING ALLEGATIONS OF ABUSE. PROSECUTORS IN 
WENATCHEE SHOPPED AROUND UNTIL THEY FOUND A PHYSICIAN WHO WOULD 
TESTIFY THAT THERE WAS PHYSICIAL EVIDENCE OF ABUSE]. The percentage 
of cases in which there was medical evidence to support abuse is much 
higher than average. HOW CAN *ZERO* BE MUCH HIGHER THAN AVERAGE?




Did any of the children change their statements?


The majority of children have maintained their statements over time. 
Four of the 38 children did recant what they said about the abuse. 
Two of these same children would later re-report the same abuse. This 
is a common occurrence among victims of sexual assault. 


I INFER FROM THIS THAT ONLY TWO OUT OF 38 CHILDREN ARE WILLING TO 
STAND BY THEIR INITIAL STORIES. ONE OF THE TWO GIRLS WHO HAS 
RE-REPORTED ABUSE IS PEREZ'S FOSTER DAUGHTER. I BELIEVE THIS IS THE 
SAME GIRL WHOSE ARM WAS BROKEN BY PEREZ. I DON'T KNOW WHO THE OTHER 
GIRL IS -- MAYBE PEREZ'S OTHER FOSTER DAUGHTER? IT'S NOT SURPRISING 
THAT SO MANY KIDS WOULD REPORT ABUSE  AFTER BEING DRUGGED UP AND 
STRAPPED TO GURNEYS AND ISOLATED AGAINST THEIR WILL AT A MENTAL 
HOSPITAL IN IDAHO.




Did adults confess to abusing children and were those confessions 
coerced?


Thirteen adults confessed to five different law enforcement officers. 
Those confessions contained details of the abuse which were later 
corroborated by victims, child witnesses and adult witnesses. We 
found no evidence to indicate that the confessions were coerced. 


NO EVIDENCE THAT THEY WERE COERCED? HOW ABOUT WITHHOLDING ONE LADY'S 
LIMB FROM HER!? IF CONFESSIONS WERE NOT COERCED, WHY DIDN'T PEREZ 
TAPE HIS CONVERSATIONS WITH THE ACCUSED? WHY DID HE DESTROY HIS NOTES?






Were children sent to locked facilities for repressed memory therapy?


The Division of Children and Family Services, to my knowledge, has 
not contracted for repressed memory therapy for any child in this 
state...  FINE, SO THEY WERE SENT TO LOCKED FACILITIES FOR OTHER 
TYPES OF "THERAPY"? I GUESS THAT'S OK THEN?
