Cuda and Euro HW in Costco Volcano Mountain, XV-500

Costco for the next week or so has the Volcano blow up
set (supercharger that sends 2 cars straight up into an
upside down loop, and into the mouth of a volcano) packed
with 4 cars. Some are peg warmers, but various packs have
the 524 cuda, Mercedes wagon, Jaguar sedan, and london bus,
which may or may not be flooding markets soon. $35, not a
bad deal if you've got kids that like this stuff, but you
might want the Daytona XV-500 set instead which is a 
sizzler oval, but it launches and "captures" cars for 
recharging without having to handle the car, this is where
the 10 sec recharge feature would come in handy vs. the
juice machine / JL solution. XV cars now come in licenced
NASCAR colors now like the no.6 valvoline and Kyle petty, 
a huge improvement over last year, which rated a zero in
adult collectibility. The JL '70 trans-am appears to be out
now, the '89 Mustang looks nice too.


JL features redesigned fat track curves, evidently somebody
else must have noticed the cars spinning out a lot. XV uses
an entirely new curve design, but it's only wide enough for
two cars.
