It featured similar Mach 3 high altitude performance, but was a bit smaller with F-111 medium bomber range of about 4000 miles, and a two man crew. It features a delta wing with canard, and four engines in a squarish triangular section under the wing just like a B-70. It had an anti-shipping missle purpose designed for it, but never went into service. It has a dropping nose for landing with zero forward visibility when it is up (there are four small windows that look up, but evidently no side windows) It was designed about 1963, when the B-70 was nearly complete. but didn't fly until 1972. It lost out for production in favor of the backfire medium bomber.
