Subject:	Drop A Task Day
     Just a reminder that Friday is "Drop a task day".  Please try to 
     identify one task that you can stop doing.  Then, get the buy-in of 
     your supervisor that this task can be dropped.  Once this is done, 
     stop doing the task - forever.
     
     The idea is to eliminate the constant creep of bureaucracy and 
     paperwork that creeps into any organization.  If you cannot find a 
     task that can be completely eliminated, try to find one that you can 
     modify.  Often, 80% of the value of a job can be obtained with only 
     20% of the effort.
