Remember see Dick and Spot run?

Now it's see Nat and Harriet Tubman run from men with guns and dogs.
Sheesh.

This was given to my son in first grade at AG Bell in Kirkland, 1997
in 1st or 2nd grade.

Chapter 2

Unit 26 Homework 3

Nat

Nat said, "I cannot be a man until I am free."  Then Nat met Harriet.
He asked, "Where can I go to be free?"

Harriet said, "Run in the creek.  Get to the farm. My friends will be
there."

Nat ran fast because he was hunted with men with guns. He got to the
farm. Harriets friends him. Soon Nat was free!
