I'd like to complain the the Seattle Times only reported
that Terry Bergeson was unopposed. Many voters told me that
they wrote in either my name, or my friend Marda Kirkwood
who ran a write-in campaign. It is quite remarkable that 
as many as 33% of voters either did not vote for her or 
for a write-in, not bad for people that are not even on the 
ballot. It should be clear the support for education reform,
WASL, accountability, and the Certficate of Mastery is far

from a consensus, and that the opposition is not some tiny
clique of conspiracy theorists. We will still work towards
the resignation or recall of Terry Bergeson before the 2004
election.
