Well, a small victory for me in Douglas County, Nevada.


I went to the county Democrat convention (I an the other 12 Democrats
that live in this county were there!! ).


I got them to accept the following resolution for the county platform,
and I will go to the state convention to present it:
"We resolve that a single test should not determine whether a child gets
a diploma or moves from one grade to the next."


It is a small victory--but if we all work toward that goal in our
different states--both Democrats and Republicans--who knows?  It might
get adopted on the national level!!
