It is ASEE's belief that both Delaine Eastin and the California Department of Education (CDE) have caused great harm to the children of this state and we have recently been notified that there may be another investigation, by the US Attorney's Office, in Sacramento, on allegations of unethical/illegal practices by the CDE. Further information about Eastin and the CDE has been posted on the ASEE web site, located at: http://www.edethics.org We would like to encourage your readers to view our site and report on any unethical practices that they may be aware of in our schools. Sincerely, Jeff La Marca, Executive Director American Society for Ethics in Education
