Berkeley is 10 percent Jewish at the undergraduate level and 20 percent at the graduate level. Asians are 41 percent of undergrads and 16 percent of graduate students. Arguably, Berkeley is the best graduate school in the US. Here are some figures for Fall 1998. Chinese: 21% of all undergrads, 6.9% of graduate students. Of BA's by discipline in 97/98: 31.8% biological sciences 31.5% chemistry 24.3% engineering 20.1% physical sciences 15.5% social sciences 10.9% business 7.8% humanities East Indian/Pakistani: 3.7% of undergrads, 2.7% of graduate students BA's by discipline: 6.3% chemistry 5.1% business 4.6% biological sciences 3.8% engineering 2.5% social sciences 1.3% humanities I have no idea to determine the proportion of Jews by major. But if you have the time, you can look at graduate departments.
